What is Bread?
Bread – Bible Memory helps you memorize Scripture and keep it fresh. Add any verse or passage, prepare with Read, Reveal, or Listen, test your recall, and return to memorized passages before they fade.
How does memorization work?
Start by preparing with Read, Reveal, or Listen. Then test yourself with Fill in the Blanks, First Letter, or spoken Recitation. Bread tracks freshness and encourages timely refresh sessions so the passage remains ready to recall.
How much does Bread cost?
Bread is free to download and use. There are no ads, subscriptions, or paid feature tiers.
Which Bible translations are available?
Bread supports ESV, ASV, NIV, NASB, KJV, NKJV, BSB, and CSB. Audio playback availability can vary by translation; you can also record your own reading.
How does cloud sync work?
Sign in with your email to back up and sync your passages, progress, preferences, notes, highlights, and recordings. See the Privacy Policy for details about information Bread stores.
How do you delete your account?
To delete your Bread account, open the Bread app, go to the More tab, then go to Settings. At the bottom of Settings, tap Delete Account. This starts the account deletion process for your account and associated app data.
