What is Bread?
Bread is a Bible memory app built around the warm, familiar metaphor of baking. You bring a verse to your pantry, knead it through gentle exercises, watch it rise, and pull it out of the oven when it's truly yours. Verses become slices, slices become loaves — passages baked into your heart.
How does memorization work?
Each verse moves through six stages: Flour (new), Kneading (early practice), Dough (taking shape), Oven (active sessions), Slice (verse memorized), and Loaf (full passage memorized). Short daily sessions use a spaced-repetition rhythm tuned for Scripture — type-along, fill-in, and recall prompts — and you earn crumbs (XP) along the way.
How much does Bread cost?
Bread is free to start. You can build your pantry and memorize verses without paying a cent. A small optional subscription unlocks unlimited passages, advanced practice modes, and cross-device sync — and helps us keep the lights on in the bakery.
How do you delete your account?
To delete your Bread account, open the Bread app, go to the More tab, then go to Settings. At the bottom of Settings, tap Delete Account. This starts the account deletion process for your account and associated app data.
